Q1 2024 Virtual Pet App Trends in Latin America

The first quarter of 2024 has seen varied performances among the top virtual pet applications in Latin America. Data from Sensor Tower provides insight into how these apps have fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

My Talking Angela 2 experienced a fluctuation in downloads, starting the quarter with approximately 632K downloads and ending with around 608K. Weekly active users saw a dip from 2.65M to 2.44M. Revenue trends also saw a decline, starting at $1.3K and closing the quarter at approximately $935.

My Talking Tom 2 had a similar trajectory with downloads peaking at 652K in the first week and tapering to about 464K by the end of March. Weekly active users remained robust, hovering around 6.38M at the beginning and 6.29M at the quarter's end. Downloads for the app showed a consistent range, starting at around 356K and concluding the quarter with approximately 304K. The weekly active users count for the app remained stable, starting at 2.42M and slightly increasing to 2.39M.

Lastly, My Talking Angela showed a steady pattern in revenue, beginning at $474 and ending the quarter at $564. Downloads for the app decreased from 336K to 246K, while weekly active users maintained a steady base, starting at 2.47M and ending with 2.13M.
